Piezometer Installation

The piezometers were installed in diamond drill holes that were collared below the piezometric water level. During the installation, we trained Ernest Henry Mining personnel so that future installations can be carried out in house.

The piezometers were multi-level fully-grouted piezometers, which can provide valuable information for groundwater management in underground mining. The piezometers provide for real-time monitoring of water pressure, which can aid the optimisation of dewatering systems, inform high pressure grouting requirements during mine development and assist with ore pass management and ventilation requirements.
