(02) 9259 3728 karynm@ecoaus.com.auNorthern Beaches Council engaged ELA to undertake the required heritage technical studies as part of numerous projects concerning both minor and major routine maintenance works to heritage items within the Local Government Area (LGA).
These included Little Manly, Clontarf and Forty Baskets Beach tidal pools. In addition, ELA has prepared Statements of Heritage Impact for works to Dee Why Lagoon, Narrabeen Lakes Bridge and North Steyne Lagoon.
Aboriginal Heritage Due Diligence Assessments undertaken for the project are in accordance with the Due Diligence Code of Practice for the Protection of Aboriginal Objects in New South Wales (DECCW, 2010) and Statement of Heritage Impacts have been undertaken in accordance with the Heritage Act 1977, The Sydney Regional Environmental Plan (Sydney Harbour Catchment) 2005, Assessing Heritage Significance guidelines (Heritage Office 2002) and the Manly LEP 2013.
These technical assessments have formed the basis for DAs and REFs.
