That’s why we provide solutions and services to Local Government that offer value for money and transparency in decision-making.

We can deliver informative and integrated Plans of Management for Council-owned land, including riparian zones, in addition to the provision of policy advice relating to the long-term management and funding of such areas. We also assist local government authorities manage their requirements for assessment under State and Commonwealth environmental legislation. We have advised Councils’ on climate change vulnerability of landscape and are passionate about assisting authorities plan for management of and adaptation to climate change.

We also offer spatial and mapping services to inform strategic plans and have developed tailored spatial products such as web-based mapping tools that provide an innovative communication tool for community consultation.

Our strategic planning work in the Local Government sector has included biodiversity and conservation significance assessments for land use planning, landscape scale climate vulnerability assessments, offset policy development, and Local Government Area (LGA)-wide bushfire management and biodiversity strategies.
